Blue Door Networks Names Michael Seaton as President
Information technology executive to lead Blue Door Networks’ next chapter of growth.
Herndon, VA, June 1, 2012 – Blue Door Networks is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Seaton to the position of President. Mr. Seaton brings more than 24 years of proven leadership capabilities through his successes at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Avaya and Extreme Networks, to his new role at Blue Door Networks. Based just outside of the Nation’s Capital, Blue Door Networks is a communications and information technologies company that specializes in providing best-in-class solutions for medium sized enterprises.
Seaton comes from Extreme Networks having acted as Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Services, overseeing worldwide sales, channels and global customer support serving enterprise, data center and carrier customers. Seaton previously held the role of Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Services for Extreme Networks, where he oversaw the delivery of technical support, education, advanced technical and professional services. Prior to that, Seaton was the Vice President of Sales Operations and Strategic Alliances and held various positions at AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya throughout his career.
Seaton’s experience is highlighted by sales leadership, sales management, programming, services delivery, operations and business consulting. Seaton holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Florida State University.
